Banish Evil - Rekindled Can be used while Rekindled is active, effective against Flying units. Deals Fire DMG equal to {2} Final ATK + Fire DMG equal to {2} VIT in total to all enemy ground units in range, breaking 5 Block Gauge(s). The Skill deals 30% increased DMG against enemy units whose HP is lower than 50%. The Skill uses of Banish Evil and Banish Evil - Rekindled are calculated separately.

The Dream Incarnate attacks the same target together, dealing Fire DMG equal to {0} Final ATK + Fire DMG equal to{1} VIT, breaking 2 Block Gauge(s). Decimation - Rekindled (Auto Skill) CD: 18s. Can be used while Rekindled is active. Casting Skills no longer [consumes] HP. Deals Fire DMG equal to {2} Final ATK + Fire DMG equal to {2}} VIT to all enemy Ground units in a cone-shaped area in front within a 300-unit radius, breaking 4 Block Gauge(s). Can only be used while Rekindled is inactive. Activating the Skill recalls the Dream Incarnate. Deals Fire DMG equal to {0} Final ATK + Fire DMG equal to {0} VIT in total to all enemy units within an 800-unit radius, gaining 50% additional [Spark] stacks. Spark stacks gained this way are not restricted by the stack limit of the Trait. Then, activates Rekindled for 30s. While the effect lasts, every 1 stack of [Spark] increases Decimation - Rekindled's DMG by 1%. When Rekindled ends, loses all [Spark] stacks

Base Effect:

At the start of combat, summons Dream Incarnate. The Dream Incarnate is considered a Summon and casts some Skills together with the caster.
Casting Skills grants [Spark] stacks. Each stack increases Basic ATK by 1%. At 100% HP, each stack increases Basic DR by 0.15%. The lower the HP, the higher the Basic DR increase. At 30% HP or lower, each stack increases Basic DR by 0.5%.
Basic ATK Crits restores the Casting CD of Decimation and Decimation - Rekindled by 1s. This effect may trigger once per 2s. During the battle, when HP lost in total reaches a certain percentage of Max HP, the following effects will unlock in sequence.
I : Unlocks at 50% HP loss, increasing CRIT Rate by 20%.
II: Unlocks at 100% HP loss, increasing CRIT DMG by 20% and reducing the CD of Rekindled Flame by 50s. This effect can only be triggered while Rekindled is inactive, up to once per battle.
III: Unlocks at 150% HP loss. When dealing DMG with Decimation or Decimation - Rekindled, for every stack of [Spark], ignores 1% of the target's Basic DR.

Lv. 0: When set as Leader, this Echomancer gains an Engraving Stat bonus of 20% (including VIT, ATK, and MST).

Lv. 1: When set as Leader, teammates gain an Engraving Stat bonus of 20% (including VIT, ATK, and MST).

Lv. 2: When set as Leader and on the field: Increases the VIT of Echomancers on the field by 20%.

Lv. 3: When set as Leader, this Echomancer’s MST to DMG Rate is increased to 110%.

Lv. 4: When set as Leader, when this Echomancer deals damage to boss or elite targets, the Extra DMG of Echomancers on the field is increased by 60% for 30s.

Lv. 5: ATK SPD +5%.

Lv. 6: CRIT Rate +5%.

Lv. 7: When set as Leader and on the field: Fire Echomancers ignore 10% of the target's Basic DR. When an Elemental Reaction is triggered on the field, applies a 40% [Elemental Reaction DMG Bonus] to all enemies for 30s.

Lv. 8: After being switched to Backup, the redeployment CD is reduced by 15s.

Lv. 9: When set as Leader, the Extra DMG of all Echomancers on the field is increased by 50%. Additionally, when calculating the number of Echomancers required for [Inspire], this Echomancer is counted as 2.

Intro

Baili Tusu is one of the core Echomancers of the Pure Fire team, along with Cyros. Both have fantastic synergy together, and are able to capitalize in every source possible of Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Extra DMG and Survivability from Square Traces. This makes the choice of getting Baili Tusu ideal for those who love an extra aggressive approach, specialized in Challenge stages where the number of Elite enemies and enemies with block gauges are very high. Tusu also works well as a general breaker to have in your roster, thanks to his surprising survivability, high block gauge capability and arguably the biggest range among the current Strikers. After using his ultimate, he’s also capable of clearing large areas of airborne enemies, which is another differential in his already unique kit. However, it must be warned that Tusu may not be for everyone. He requires more manual input than most characters, and making the most of his kit can be tricky, especially if you try to use him outside a Pure Fire team. Despite that, much like most Echomancers in Ash Echoes, if you like his style, you’re in for a good time.

  • Skill 2 is spammable with infinite uses and doesn’t cost HP when under the Rekindled effect;

  • One of the best at breaking gauges and barriers;

  • Rare case of a Striker with Anti-air capabilities;

  • Can easily trigger any shield-based Trace skills.

Cons

  • Requires a lot of manual input to be efficient;

  • Anti-air relies on the 30s window after ultimate use, and is only available through his first skill;

  • Overall output falls down when used outside the Fire Team;

Tier list comment

A cornerstone of the Pure Fire team who is highly effective at destroying block bars, Baili Tusu sacrifices his own HP in exchange for shields and extra damage. He is also a rare case of Striker Echomancer capable of targeting airborne enemies, making him irreplaceable in this role for the Fire team.
