As her high damage multipliers are locked behind [Poison] application, she is best paired with teammates who can keep [Poison] at around 3 stacks. However, while she benefits from [Poison], she doesn't interact with the archetype outside of just dealing damage. A strong damage dealer who is unfortunately outclassed by newer DPS units.

When attacking an enemy afflicted with [Poison], DMG Dealt +20%. When entering battle and at the start of every 3rd round (Round 1, 3, 6, 9 …), inflicts [Poison] on all enemies for 2 rounds: at the end of the round, takes (the user's ATK x30%) Genesis DMG.
DMG Dealt +8% when the caster enters battle.
When attacking an enemy not afflicted with [Poison], inflicts [Poison] for 2 rounds: at the end of the round, takes (the user's ATK x30%) Genesis DMG.
Poison:
Neg Status. At the end of a round, takes Genesis DMG based on the caster's ATK. Can stack.
Jessica has one or more Euphoria upgrades available that amplify their base skills.
Tier I
When entering battle and at the end of the round, gain 2 stacks of [Moss on Stone] for self; after an ally actively casts and attacks with an incantation, if the main target is in a [Poison] status, gain 1 stack of [Moss on Stone] for self.
[Moss on Stone]: Special. Triggers special effects (stacks up to 10 times).
At the start of the round, if holding 10 stacks of [Moss on Stone], then right before this unit actively casts and attacks with an incantation for the first time in the round, inflict an additional [Petrify] status on the main target for 1 round, and remove all [Moss on Stone] statuses on self at the end of the round.
Attacking an enemy in the [Petrify] status does not remove the [Petrify] status.
Tier II
[White Blankie]: At incantation rank 1/2/3, the Reality DMG bonus from each additional instance of [Poison] is increased to 80/120/200%; and the [Petrify] status is regarded as 2 additional instances of [Poison].
Tier III
When actively attacking, if the main target is in the [Petrify] status, the attack gains Incantation Might +30%.
Tier IV
When actively attacking, if the main target is in the [Petrify] status, the attack is always a critical hit.
Tier I
At the start of the battle and once every 3 rounds (rounds 1, 3, 6, 9… after the battle begins), inflicts [Spreading Hyphae] on all enemies for 3 rounds.
Tier II
After [Gaze from the Forest] hits, immediately resolves [Poison] on all enemies.
Tier III
After [Good Friends] or [White Blankie] hits, inflicts 2 stacks of [Poison] for 2 rounds on the targets hit: at the end of each round, deals (own ATK x30%) Genesis DMG to the target.
At the end of the round, if the enemy with the most [Poison] has at least 5 [Poison], casts 1 rank 1 [White Blankie] on the enemy with the highest HP percentage and Moxie +1.
Tier IV
Enhances [Spreading Hyphae] with extra effects: increases the carrier’s [Poison] DMG Taken by 10%; while under this effect, when the carrier’s [Poison] is resolved 1 time, inflicts [Spore] on the carrier for 3 rounds.
[Spore]: Neg Status. Jessica can turn this into stacks of [Poison] (can stack up to 4 times).
When inflicting [Spreading Hyphae], for every 1 stack of [Spore] on the target, inflicts 1 stack of [Poison] on the target for 2 rounds: at the end of each round, deals (own ATK x30%) Genesis DMG to the target and removes all stacks of [Spore].
Lv. 1:
Gaze From the Forest: Reality DMG increased to 425%.
Lv. 2:
Changeling: When entering battle and at the start of every 3rd round, [Poison] inflicted on enemies +1 round.
Lv. 3:
White Blankie: At Incantation rank 1/2/3, Reality DMG increased to 200/300/500%.
Lv. 4:
Good Friends: At Incantation rank 1/2/3, if the target is afflicted with [Stats Down], [Neg Status] or [Control], Reality DMG increased to 50/75/125%.
Lv. 5:
Gaze From the Forest: Reality DMG increased to 500%.
Review
[Needs Euphoria update] Jessica is a 6-star Carry of the Plant Afflatus. She is focused on exploiting the [Poison] debuff, dealing increased damage with “White Blankie” for every stack of [Poison] on her target. At 3 stacks, this attack deals a ridiculous amount of damage, nearing Ultimate levels of Reality DMG modifiers.
Using Insight 1, 3 and her Ultimate: “Gaze From the Forest”, Jessica is able to inflict [Poison] for herself, but it isn't consistent nor does she inflict enough stacks to maximize her damage. As such, you'll want to pair her up with Sotheby or Kanjira, who can keep Jessica's needs fueled.
While her “White Blankie” spell is the star of the show, Jessica has access to decent AoE damage with “Good Friends” and “Gaze From the Forest”, especially if you plan to roll for her Portrays.
As strong as Jessica is numerically, she has a few imperfections. For one, her team building options are restricted, basically requiring either Sotheby, Kanjira, Isolde, or Tuesday to be present if you want to optimize her damage output. Secondly, she is incredibly reliant on getting [Poison] to stick, which may be hard during patches/Limbo rotations that don't favor the Plant Afflatus or opponents that outright cleanse any [Poison] inflicted on them. Still, due to her outrageous DPT ceiling, Jessica makes a name for herself as a very powerful Sub-DPS.
Very high DPT ceiling under the right conditions, especially in multi-target situations.
No longer reliant on [Poison] beyond her own, mostly utilized with the “Blasphemer of Night” psychube in debuff teams.
Paired with Sotheby (Euphoria 1), she finally has a very good healer that can also apply enough [Poison] for Jessica to consider her in her teams.
Doesn’t reach the kind of DMG numbers of “new age Damage Dealers.”
Tuesday tends to apply too much [Poison] with no good supporting capabilities besides that to really fit into Jessica’s teams.
Overall
Stats and Build
Prioritizes ATK and Crit DMG. Since post-Euphoria Jessica is guaranteed to crit against enemies with [Petrify], it’s not worth building her Critical Rate.
If you don’t have Resonance Patterns unlocked, try this build with Placidity:

Falling for a Sweet Phenomenon is Euphoria 2 Jessica's best-in-slot option. Since she has a follow-up attack, she can stack up to 60% Genesis DMG Dealt with this psychube. She loses out on the Critical DMG because she's not a Star character, but most of her damage is coming from [Poison].
Blasphemer of Night is Jessica's original best-in-slot option, and it's still her best psychube unless you're running Euphoria 2. She needs a little help getting to two [Neg Status], but she has a lot of teammate options in that regard: Sotheby, Druvis III, Tuesday, etc. all work here.
Her Mournful Face is a good backup option for Euphoria 2 Jessica. 40% Poison DMG is great. If you're running Sotheby or some other [Cure] character, Jessica can also get a negligible amount of DMG Taken Reduction.
Dust on the Roadside is an interesting psychube because it grants 4% Penetration Rate per stack of [Poison] with no maximum cap. Most of her damage nowadays comes from [Poison] and not straight up damage, but this is still an interesting consideration.

Synergy & Teams
The teams below come from our Teams database and showcase ANY team with Jessica present within in all content available in the game.
Genesis Style - Magic Number Jutsu
Niche 1: Poison || Niche 2: -
Ezio on CS-CC or CS-BK. This team is what old Jessica would've wanted. With the additional Genesis DMG scaling quite violently with the amount of [Poison] stacks (especially notable on his Ult) you're going to want a lot of it. Tuesday is obviously here for her Array but also the Genesis DMG Taken debuff which further boosts his damage. Jessica(E2) is a nice AP+ Poison Support that'll trigger the stacks and also apply a bunch of it passively while Sotheby(E1) is Sotheby. The flex spot here is Jessica(E2), being able to trade out for other general units such as Hissabeth or Kakania; another good pick is Flutterpage if you're running OtC on Ezio as she can enhance his Crits.
The Doctor Doesn't Like Angels
Niche 1: Control || Niche 2: Debuff
A Petrify team surrounding Jessica(E). Honestly, [Moss On Stone] is a dogwater way of inflicting [Petrify] but the bonus Incan Might and guaranteed Crits on enemies with [Petrify] is very decent. This is largely supported by Hissabeth bringing a consistent way of triggering BoN for Jessica alongside [Petrify] (and more dmg dan Jessica) while using only 1 AP and Druvis(E) grants large ATK, DMG and Pen bonsues with [Circle of Life]. This is then kept safe by Ezra Theodore(E, either one) by expediting his [Mushroom]s and improving his team sustain.
