Kiroumaru Headbutt

Ram

  • Sakiri swings Kiroumaru and performs up to 5 consecutive attacks, dealing Incantation DMG.

Eating Mode

  • Hold to activate Eating Mode with Kiroumaru. Mounts Sakiri onto Kiroumaru, allowing movement. Opens its mouth to continuously pull nearby targets within a cone while Hungry. Destroys movable objects in the scene and devours weak enemies. Takes 180s to digest each devoured enemy, with only 1 target digested at a time.

  • Becomes Full when the number of enemies being digested reaches the limit, remaining movable but unable to pull or devour enemies. Release to exit the mode.

Swallow

  • Wields Kiroumaru in the air and plunges, dealing 1 instance of Incantation DMG to an area upon impact. Increases DMG based on fall height, up to 200%.

Critical Riposte: Mischief

  • Triggers when using Ram after a Critical Dodge. Leaps high into the air and strikes down hard with Kiroumaru against enemies left vulnerable by their missed attacks. Deals 1 instance of Incantation DMG to an area and reduces Break.

According to Mr. T, an oddity who survived the depths of Kiroumaru's belly and lived to tell the tale thanks to Sakiri's timely intervention, hints at an unexpected perk: Amidst the gloom, one might unearth a half-digested game console to while away the hours — a quirky, entertaining twist to an otherwise harrowing wait for rescue.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Doesn’t need much field time.

  • Can group and immobilize enemies.

  • Passive DoT buffing.

  • Universal support with DEF debuffs and ATK buffs.

Cons

  • Loses some of her potential outside of Scorch teams.

  • Ult has high Energy cost.

Review

Sakiri is a support character of the Incantation attribute, whose strengths are grouping enemies, immobilizing them, and buffing the team. She’s twice as effective for teams that make use of DoT, and consequently is recommended to be used in Scorch teams (Chaos + Incantation). She can, however, be used as a universal support thanks to the flat debuff and buff that comes with her ultimate.

This little demon doesn’t need field time at all, which is actually one of her strengths. While her basic attack has an interesting gimmick of devouring targets, it takes too long for them to be digested, the amount is too limited, and it only works with weak mobs. Consequently, Sakiri’s gameplay consists in switching in, using her skill to group up enemies (or not even that in boss battles), using her ult and switching out.

What makes her truly shine is actually her passives: “Can I Eat This?” and “Impish Trick”. The former increases the DoT taken by targets affected by Scorch by 25%, up to 100%. This takes effect as long as Sakiri is in the team. The latter, decreases the DEF of the target(s) by 10%, topping with the built-in buff from her ult that increases the ATK of the team by 30% of Sakiri’s own ATK for 20 seconds after she casts her ultimate. While in theory this would mean that the debuff and buff can stay up permanently, that is not the case considering the high energy cost of Sakiri’s ult. It is recommended to equip her with Arcs and Cartridges that increase her buff capabilities and charge efficiency.

Teams & Synergy

Synergies
Teams

Scorch Team

This team focuses on cycling all 3 of the Incantation units with Daffodill to stack and maintain Scorch. Since Sakiri buffs DoT damage (including Scorch), she fits perfectly into this team.

AoE Hex Team

This team utilizes Sakiri as a buffer and enabler of the Hex reaction. Since Hex affects any Incantation or Anima damage, and lasts for 15 seconds, it is possible to keep up Hex permanently in a team like this.

Awakening & Calculations

Awakening Review

In NTE, you can freely choose Awakening Effects, so you are not forced to unlock them in a specific order, and you can unselect them at any time.

Awakening order of importance:

A4 > A5> A1 > A2 > A3 > A6

Awakening 4, “Wishful Reliance”, transforms Sakiri into a powerhouse buffer. It is highly recommended to get this dupe for her, since it adds a flat ATK buff based of 30% of Sakiri’s own ATK to all other teammates for 20s after she uses her ult, doubling the original buff. This also makes her much more impactful outside of Scorch teams.

A5 is slightly situational since not all enemies can be thrown airborne (and most bosses can’t), but it can still be a fantastic addition to her kit since it removes her biggest downside. It instantly restores Sakiri’s ultimate energy and resets its cooldown, allowing her to upkeep her DEF debuff and ATK buff (if you have A4).

Her other dupes aren’t very impactful, especially since Sakiri’s role isn’t to deal damage anyway, but A1 can still add some QoL by doubling the duration of her ult’s crowd control effect. Both her Resonances fall on the same basket, as simple minor increase in damage, which isn’t Sakiri’s role anyway.
