Introduction

Willow is a 6✦ rarity character from the Plant afflatus who deals Mental damage and belongs to the Damage class.

Our first true [Poison] team DPS, Willow outputs a great amount of Genesis DMG by inflicting [Poison] and transforming [Poison] into [Hag's Bane]—a special kind of [Poison] whose damage scales off of how many times it's been triggered this turn. Her Ultimate channel increases her Max Moxie and depletes Moxie every turn to inflict even more Hag's Bane.

In the Fire, In the Shadow

[Ancient Ritual]: Channel. While this Channel status is active, all enemies are considered to have triggered [Hag’s Bane] a number of times this round equal to 1+(the number of rounds this Channel has been active). At the end of the round, depletes Moxie equal to 2+2*(the number of rounds this Channel has been active) and inflicts (depleted Moxie)/2 stacks of [Hag’s Bane] on all enemies. If there is insufficient Moxie, depletes all remaining Moxie, casts [Ending Pose], and ends this Channel. The first round does not deplete Moxie and inflicts 1 stack of [Hag’s Bane].

[Ending Pose]: Mass attack. Deals 200% Mental DMG and additionally deals ATK*50% Genesis DMG for every stack of [Hag's Bane] on the enemy.

Hag's Bane:

Neg Status. Is considered Poison and lasts for 2 rounds. After a round ends, takes (the caster’s ATK*20%) Genesis DMG and increases [Hag’s Bane] DMG taken by 40% for 1 round, stacking up to 4 times. (Can stack up to a maximum of 10 times).

At the start of the round, inflicts 2 stacks of [Poison] on 2 enemies for 2 rounds, prioritizing enemies with the most stacks of [Poison]. When other allies actively attack enemy targets, Willow inflicts 2 stacks of [Poison] for 2 rounds on the main target of the attack; this effect can be triggered up to 2 times per round.

Lv. 2:

[Fluctuating Steps]: Inflicted [Poison]’s Genesis DMG is increased to ATK*40%. Additionally, each triggered instance of [Hag’s Bane] increases [Hag’s Bane] DMG by 45%.

Lv. 3:

[Hag’s Advice]: At incantation rank 1/2/3, the number of convertible [Poison] stacks increases to 4/5/6.

Lv. 4:

[Fluctuating Steps]: When other allies actively attack enemy targets, the number of [Poison] stacks inflicted on the main target of the attack increases to 3.

Lv. 5:

[Hag’s Advice]: Each triggered instance of [Hag’s Bane] increases [Hag’s Bane] DMG by 50%.

Comments

“Offbeat Strides” is Willow's signature psychube, and it supercharges her gameplay by giving her 1 Moxie right out of the gate. It also increases her Genesis DMG, DMG Taken Reduction, and [Poison] damage.

“Her Mournful Face” is a decent budget option for Willow, since it buffs [Poison] DMG by 40% (and [Poison] is where the majority of Willow's damage comes from).

“Silent and Adoring” increases the damage Willow deals when her [Channel] ends. Since “Ending Pose” deals Genesis DMG, it can take full advantage of this psychube's passive. The ATK% substat helps to increase Willow's [Poison] damage, too.

“Transcendent Love” also has an ATK% substat. In addition, since Willow's [Channel] is so long, she can easily stack up Crit Rate and Crit DMG from this psychube's passive. However, the rest of the passive is useless. Willow can activate “Blasphemer of Night” extremely easily with her effortless [Poison] application. However, since the multipliers on her incantations are pretty low, she doesn't benefit very much from the upfront DMG buff. Nonetheless, it's a good option if you don't want to invest in a specialized psychube.
