Melania is a powerful single-target damage dealer who revolves around generating loads of Moxie for herself and even stealing Moxie from the opponent. She is rather AP-greedy, which makes her harder to teambuild. Though she has been outclassed by newer DPS characters, she's carved out a solid niche for herself with her Moxie-stealing effects.

Review
Melania is a unique Damage Dealer whose main mechanic revolves around stealing Moxie from enemies, and building up her own ultimate's power. This gives her two possible roles in a team; The first one, for those who don't want to or can't invest much on her, consists on focusing on shutting down enemies. This role works as a Sub-DPS and is better suited for short battles and the Early Game, since Melania takes quite a few rounds to build up her stacks and unleash her full power.
The second role, and the one she's been designed for, is focused on Burst DMG. Although she may seem to lag a bit behind her peers of similar role and rarity at first, that's merely a facade. True to her lore and character, Melania is all about careful planning and building up before hitting her target with overwhelming might.
Her first skill, “Silent Takedown” can literally steal Moxie from the target. This is her main tool to shut down enemies while gaining extra Moxie for herself. This allows Melania to use her Ultimate almost back to back. Most of the time, however, players will likely only have access to this skill at level 2, which is already good enough to fulfill its role regardless if Melania is the main damage dealer of the team or not.
The second skill, “Clockwork Rats”, has a fixed leech rate of +20%, and can go up to +50% if under [Thief Master] status. At three stars, this mass attack skill has a base multiplier of 300%, and under [Thief Master] it also gives +1 Moxie to the caster. Under these ideal conditions, 300% multiplier with 50% leech rate is the same as Eternity's ultimate, the difference here being, “Clockwork Rats” is a skill that you can spam more easily and Melania doesn't sacrifice her own HP to attack.
Great continuous single-target burst DMG.
Can be used to suppress enemies by stealing their Moxie.
Very self-sufficient, is great and cycling her own Ultimate and staying alive.
Incantations don’t do great DMG, entirely reliant on Ultimate for this.
Takes a bit to ramp up to her full DMG potential.
DMG potential isn’t as high as newer Damage Dealers.

Overall
Stats and Build
Prioritizes ATK, Critical Rate, and Critical DMG. Melania’s Euphoria buff makes [Fixed Plan] increase the next Ultimate’s Crit Rate and Crit DMG up to 36% each. Thus, post-Euphoria Melania favors having a bit more crit in her resonance plan.

One with the Flow is arguably the best-in-slot option for Euphoria Melania. Because her Moxie storage counts as a Force Field, this psychube has a chance to give her extra Moxie with every incantation. This speeds up her rotations significantly.
Offbeat Strides gives her +1 Moxie at the start of battle, which then gets stored so Euphoria Melania can get to the second ultimate that much faster. 10–20% DMG Taken Reduction is also quite significant.
Luxurious Leisure is pre-Euphoria Melania's best option and it's still pretty good on her post-Euphoria. 18% Ultimate Might and 15–27% DMG Bonus helps her personal damage a lot.
Another Story is a good substitute for Luxurious Leisure if you already have it built, since it also gives 18% Ultimate Might. If you take the time to set her up with rank 2/3 incantations, you can get the 8–24% DMG Bonus.
The Carat of a Heart is an interesting option for a crit-based Melania build. 12–24% Ultimate Might on the next ultimate if you get 4 Moxie in a round is quite strong; it takes some setup with pre-Euphoria Melania, but [Passion Drain] on Euphoria Melania makes this trivially easy to proc.

Infinite Bladeworks Aurafarming
Niche 1: Ultimate || Niche 2: -
The standard hypercarry Recoleta setup. Splits AP between Recoleta and Melania to upkeep [Passion Drain] and quickly stack [Fixed Plan] on all allies. Facilitated by Moldir who is definitely tied to the hip with Recoleta but boosts her team's performance by 50% (though she doesn't really work in other Ultimate oriented teams). Medicine Pocket(E1) is then added for the passive healing, allowing the other 3 to divide the AP with the occassional Crit debuffs to set up for a big Ult combo. Flex picks mainly include swapping Moldir to a unit like Hissabeth, Name Day, Lopera or Argus.
Welcome To The Streets
Niche 1: Ultimate || Niche 2: -
Ezio on WH-CC or WH-BK. This team is focused on making sure Ezio has as many [Eagle's Guidance] stacks as possible and dealing as much damage as possible. Melania is here for [Fixed Plan] stacking as its permanent and avoids the annoyance of having to time it for 100% Synch. Hissabeth is mostly here to generate Synch, being able to cast 3 Ultimates a turn while relatively AP free will allow Ezio to take his time gathering Synch himself an dealing damage. Medicine Pocket(E1) is the only thing you have to time here, being mostly AP free to let others cast while having a nice set of Crit debuffs for 2 rounds. Hiss is the flexer here, being able to swap between Recoleta or Getian(E1).
WE ARE SO BACK
Niche 1: Ultimate || Niche 2: -
New meets old with this team slapping Centurion(E)'s rampant scaling with Moxie earned with a side dish of Getian dealing highly consistent and more powerful [Admonition] casts next to Melania(E)'s added Ultimate Might and Crit stats on top of her personal damage and consistent Ult casts. All of this offensive output is kept safe by MedPoc(E)'s passive healing output and bonus Crit debuffs. Relatively simple to play, no real shenanigans, just hit hard and fast.
WHAT IS THIS RAT DOING HERE
Niche 1: Ultimate || Niche 2: -
It just is, don't ask me why. Probably the single strongest 'budget' team available, Buddy is an incredibly self-sufficient Ultimate Carry. He boosts his own ATK massively, generates his own Moxie and has a gigantic Mass Nuke on his Ultimate that is guaranteed to crit which also increases allied DMG Dealt. This meshes well with Melania, who is capable of stacking large amounts of Ult Might and Lopera who is known for her Ult/Incan buffs on top of considerable crit stat buffing. Medpoc just finishes this off with their defensive shredding. Buddy hits HARD, and can also be supported through generally strong buffers like Ulrich and Mercuria or some general units such as Hissabeth, Kakania, Name Day and Druvis III.
Look At All These Debuffs
Niche 1: Debuff || Niche 2: Ultimate
Noire is a decent Ultimate oriented carry as she can continuously recast her Ultimate through [Genius Insight] causing great but slightly inconsistent Mass DMG. The problem is her needs, as he wants [Neg Status]es, Ultimate buffs and Crit (due to low base) which results in her having to turn to AAL(E) for being able to provide [Neg Status]es while Melania(E) provides Ultimate buffs through [Fixed Plan]. The team is topped with Vila, whose [Song of Passion] helps Noire with her Crit problems, but Lopera can be used here as well for [Burn], her Array and her Crit buffs.
