The first limited character, Jiu Niangzi gains [Liquor] stacks from different types of allied buff, counter, and channel statuses—some of which she can generate herself. Her incantations consume these [Liquor] stacks to perform powerful follow-up attacks. Jiu's Ultimate, "Baijiu and Mayhem," is a mass attack that gets stronger against fewer enemies and gains 100% Penetration Rate at 6 [Liquor] stacks. Maintaining Jiu Niangzi's [Liquor] stacks is vital for increasing her damage output, so make sure to team her up with characters who can grant many unique buffs.

Review
Jiu Niangzi is a 6-star Arcanist of the Mineral Afflatus and also the first “True Limited” character released, meaning she will not enter the standard pool unlike other characters.
Jiu Niangzi's main gimmick is her consistent attack and high damage output. Her first incantation, called “Bottoms Up” deals damage with a follow-up attack attached that deals an amount of damage based on the amount of [Liquor] stacks consumed (done so randomly).
Her other skill, "Baijiu Ladle”, is the first Channel effect to be introduced, grants Jiu [Liquor] and [Cheers], and applies [Drunk] to her. There are a lot of terms here, but [Cheers] just increases the amount of [Liquor] consumed for her next “Bottoms Up” and [Drunk] causes her to automatically cast “Bottoms Up” if she's still in its Channel at the end of the round.
Her Ultimate: “Baijiu and Mayhem” is a Mass attack that deals increasingly more damage the fewer enemies are present. In addition, if Jiu has more than 6 [Liquor] stacks before casting the Pen Rate of this attack is increased by 100%, meaning that she can hit through any Reality DEF (but not through effects like Dodge or Reality DMG Immunity).
Sits around lazily and deals damage.
Offensively (and undeniably), Jiu Niangzi is a powerhouse in terms of damage output. It's very easy to deal a lot of damage with her, with [Liquor] and [Cheers] providing a really consistent high base damage on her incantations. Under [Cheers] a rank 1 “Bottoms Up” has a BASE mod of 280%, jumping to 360% at rank 2 and 520% at rank 3, another 120% can be added on top depending on the [Liquor] consumed beyond the min of 2.
Consistency is Jiu's most important keyword, with her gaining a solid amount of [Liquor] from buffers or even her own Insight 3 which generates a few random buffs for herself. It's a shame that 2 out of the 4 possible buffs here are defensive, -DMG Taken and +DMG Heal are fine, but usually you'll be running a Sustain unit, meaning you have a 50/50 to win every round to optimize damage.
There's not much else to say here, she sits in your team casting “Bottoms Up” every turn. If you're looking for a character that engages you as a player, Jiu Niangzi is not the pick. Though she does herald a kind of shift in character power in the game overall, characters that match her (and are more exciting than her) have already released on CN.
Excels at reliable and high continuous damage instead of high burst damage. Excellent at ST damage due to how much she spams her Skill 1 and how her Ultimate functions against fewer targets.
Every non-Ultimate attack she does has a Follow-Up Attack attached to it, meaning she can be paired with characters that want allies to attack a lot or those that like Follow-Up Attacks.
Extremely simple to use
Her playstyle is rather boring, she just AFKs and attacks and that's all she does; there's no mechanic to balance, gimmick to keep track of, it is just clicking the button to deal damage.
True Limited character, meaning she won't ever be available from the standard pool, unlike most other characters in the game.
