Silvina is an A-Level Assassin of the Graveborn faction. Most certainly an Assassin ever, Silvina prides herself on high and safe single-target burst right out of the gates of a fight.

This is done through "First Strike", which targets the closest enemy to Silvina's tile on the opposing side of the battlefield. When the battle starts, Silvina immediately blinks at them and deals a burst of damage (at later levels this also stuns her target). This is the primary gimmick and reason why she's so good: solid immediate burst on a fairly easily selectable target.

"Choking Blade" helps with this, causing her basic attacks to deal increased damage at the start of a fight and prolonging this effect when she kills her "First Strike" targeted enemy. Her Ultimate, "Soul Reaper" is equally simple, dealing single-target burst and reducing the target's Energy by a significant amount, which is incredibly good for annoying targets such as Rowan or Vala who you don't want alive for too long.

Silvina's Exclusive Weapon is what makes her so solid. It unlocks "Shield of Light", which grants her a massive shield upon casting "First Strike". At +10, killing her "First Strike" target also frightens all nearby enemies for a decent duration, further improving Silvina's survivability following her jump and adding some crowd control to her kit.

Silvina is great at doing what she does: blowing up a single target from the get-go, and this consistency is only improved as you invest in her. Due to the Faction DMG bonus, Silvina is a staple for taking out annoying Lightbearer targets such as Rowan, Vala, and Marilee, but she works into pretty much any Support.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Great ease of use in terms of targeting and consistency (post EX).

  • Amazing and relatively safe single-target damage.

  • Great to take out Rowan or Vala in PVP due to the Faction DMG bonus.

Cons

  • Mostly a counter-pick unit that you pull out to deal with certain threats.

  • Lacks survivability pre-EX and will get blown up.

Guides

EX Investment

Since the

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
and
Twilight Essence
Twilight Essence
are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Why does the +8 breakpoint appear so often?

Because the raw stats you get from upgrading the EX weapon help you more than the passive in some cases. Also, to upgrade the EX from +5 to +8 you need only 30x

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
, while the remaining two levels require additional 45x
Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
. So you get the best bang for your buck stopping at +8.

Color explanation:

  • +0 - the base investment for the character,
  • +5/8 - the next step that you should do when investing into that character,
  • +10/15 - the final step you should do when investing into that character - you can go beyond that later though once you have the Essences to spare.
