Satrana is an A-level Mage from the Mauler Faction. She is a hybrid DPS Debuffer type with some sustain, but her being a Mage makes her squishy by default, especially because she is melee range.

Before we talk about her ult, let's talk about her two base skills. Vixen Rush deals max HP damage, but it caps based on a percentage of Satrana's ATK, and the damage dealt by the skill will have a 100 Life Drain effect. This skill is decent for keeping her alive, especially since it's on a respectable cooldown. Ignite Passions by default grants Sparks to all allies 2 tiles near her from the start of battle. When either Satrana or allies with Spark deal damage to an enemy three times, they get burned for a percentage of their max HP that caps based on the percentage of Satrana's ATK, reducing their vitality. This effect is permanent. This is the support side of her kit that focuses on debuffing enemies, burning and reducing their overall healing, and shield received for the entire battle even if Satrana dies.

Now we introduce Fiery Dance, which deals damage to all enemies within 2 tiles, and while dancing, she is immune to all damage and crowd control. At lvl 2 of her skill, the last hit of the dance will charm enemies, meaning they start attacking each other, but they could only use normal attacks. Most of the time, this won't do a lot, as it will usually hit only the frontline.

Hero Focus of reduced damage taken is amazing, significantly giving her more sustain. Her EX Skill, Radiant Vigor, gives her magic damage taken reduction if an enemy is burned by Ignite Passions and gives an ally that buff if another enemy is burned. Her Enhance Force makes it so that her Vixen Rush has 0 cooldown when all enemy heroes or 5 enemy heroes are ignited. Note that this will not work in Dream Realm, or most likely, you will never see this happening outside Battle Drills.

Conclusion

If you want to use her, you will need a lot of dupes, mainly to give her more stats so that she is not too squishy in battle. She is decent to use in Dream Realm, but not the best option. Decent option as well in Battle Drills. As for PVP, you can use Reinier to send her to the backline to try casting Fiery Dance on the backline to distract them.

Season of Strife Skill

Arcane Focus is great for her, as it gives more overall damage to your magic-based team. Very usable everywhere.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • HP% damage (though it's capped),

  • Can Charm enemies,

  • MDEF Shred from seasonal skill, making her great in Magic teams.

Cons

  • Melee range, so she often dies without doing anything.

Guides

EX Investment

Since the

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
and
Twilight Essence
Twilight Essence
are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Why does the +8 breakpoint appear so often?

Because the raw stats you get from upgrading the EX weapon help you more than the passive in some cases. Also, to upgrade the EX from +5 to +8 you need only 30x

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
, while the remaining two levels require additional 45x
Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
. So you get the best bang for your buck stopping at +8.

Color explanation:

  • +0 - the base investment for the character,
  • +5/8 - the next step that you should do when investing into that character,
  • +10/15 - the final step you should do when investing into that character - you can go beyond that later though once you have the Essences to spare.
