Review

Lenya is a Wilder Assassin who excels in isolation and lock-down of enemy DPS, using her continuous control as well as high damage to dominate her enemies. With a limited attack range of 1, she charges towards the nearest enemy at the start of each battle, using her array of Stunning abilities to prevent them from counter attacking..

Her first skill functions in both Passive and Active modes. In Passive mode, Lenya can block an incoming Normal Attack, retaliating with a Stunning strike. Meanwhile in Active mode, it delivers damage in a small area of effect (AOE).

Her second skill increases her Critical Hit Rate and triggers a Stun upon landing a Critical strike, amplifying her control over the battlefield. However, the core of Lenya’s kit is her Ultimate ability, where she challenges the enemy’s highest damage dealer to a duel. This Ultimate draws their attention, forcing their aggro onto her while she locks them down with a relentless series of Stunning kicks.

Performance Across Game Modes:

Story and AFK Stages: Lenya performs admirably in AFK stages, delivering impressive damage numbers and proving herself as a viable DPS carry, even at high deficits.

Dream Realm: Lenya struggles in Dream Realm, as her duel mechanic loses efficacy in this mode. Unable to maximize her potential, she ends up dealing less damage compared to top-tier bossing characters while offering little utility to make up for the deficit.

PvP: In theory, Lenya is a powerhouse in PvP due to her control mechanics. However, in practice, her full potential is mostly seen in the Supreme Arena. The meta map 3 in normal arena, which features obstacles like walls, can hinder her movement, making her less consistent compared to alternative picks. Nonetheless, she remains a valuable tech option against specific teams.

Battle Drills: Lenya shines in mob-clearing stages, chaining kills efficiently against weaker enemies. However, she falters in boss stages.

Investment Information:
  • Legendary+: Grants Lenya an extra boost in Haste.

  • Mythic+: Buffs her abilities during duels, particularly upgrading her Flurry Kicks.

  • Supreme+: Makes her tankier against all enemies except the one targeted in her duel.

Lenya requires significant investment to reach her full potential, as she heavily relies on having high dupes to consistently win duels. Supreme+ EX 10 is a highly recommended stopping point for Lenya.

Conclusion:

Lenya is a versatile tech option in PvP, comparable to assassins like Vala or Silvina, and a solid pick for pushing high-deficit AFK stages. Lenya shines brightest when heavily invested in, so pulling her is most beneficial if you're prepared to max her out immediately. She brings added variety for players looking to tackle difficult challenges while excelling in AFK stages.

Seasonal Skill

Lenya’s seasonal skill further increases her own Haste after every Ultimate.

Guides

EX Investment

Since the

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
and
Twilight Essence
Twilight Essence
are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Why does the +8 breakpoint appear so often?

Because the raw stats you get from upgrading the EX weapon help you more than the passive in some cases. Also, to upgrade the EX from +5 to +8 you need only 30x

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
, while the remaining two levels require additional 45x
Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
. So you get the best bang for your buck stopping at +8.

Color explanation:

  • +0 - the base investment for the character,
  • +5/8 - the next step that you should do when investing into that character,
  • +10/15 - the final step you should do when investing into that character - you can go beyond that later though once you have the Essences to spare.
