Koko is an A-Level Support from the Mauler faction who can reduce the damage taken by allies. While early on, she will not shine as much cause you can overpower enemies without resorting to her Damage Reduction, later on, her value will rise.

The main attraction of her kit is 'Full Energy' which gives Damage Reduction to herself and allies that are currently on the field. It also gives Life Drain and ATK up to all allies which is great cause she is part of Mauler faction which houses heroes that benefit a lot in Life Drain. While 'Full Energy' is active, it will record the reduced damage as it is linked to her Exclusive Equipment which gives allies a shield for 7 seconds after the duration of 'Full Energy' is over. At lvl 10 of her Exclusive equipment, casting 'Full Energy' will cleanse all allies of Crowd Control effects and give them Resilience while the ult is in duration. 'Fulfilling Feast' heals the weakest ally every 10 seconds and gives them an ATK buff for 5 seconds which at Supreme+ also gives the ally 25 Vitality for 6 seconds. Also heals herself every 15 seconds and gains 20 Vitality for 7 seconds.

'Patto Smash' has 2 skills on it. First is an offensive throwing of the spear to an enemy dealing damage and increasing their damage taken by 10% which is on a 15-second cooldown. The second one is a defensive-ish skill when an enemy is 1 tile near Koko where Patto will smash the ground dealing damage and stuns the enemy for 3 seconds, the skill has an 8-second cooldown. Hero Focus of Haste is perfect for Koko cause you want to charge as fast as possible cause she has a hefty energy requirement for her ult and increases the animation speed of her other skills as well.

She is a character that is viable on both Story and Dream Realm - and later on, will be on PVP as well to counter the CC-heavy teams featuring Eironn. It's highly recommended to get copies of her until you unlock her Exclusive Equipment then level it up to 10 if you're gonna use her in PVP.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Ultimate provides a lot of value both offensively and defensively.

  • Can stand on her own even while attacked.

Cons

  • Ultimate requires a LOT of Energy which isn't easy with her slow ATK SPD and no Energy generation in her kit.

Guides

EX Investment

Since the

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
and
Twilight Essence
Twilight Essence
are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Why does the +8 breakpoint appear so often?

Because the raw stats you get from upgrading the EX weapon help you more than the passive in some cases. Also, to upgrade the EX from +5 to +8 you need only 30x

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
, while the remaining two levels require additional 45x
Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
. So you get the best bang for your buck stopping at +8.

Color explanation:

  • +0 - the base investment for the character,
  • +5/8 - the next step that you should do when investing into that character,
  • +10/15 - the final step you should do when investing into that character - you can go beyond that later though once you have the Essences to spare.
