After charging up briefly, Carolina selects an enemy target, dealing 240% damage to the target and freezing them for 6s. Then, she creates an arctic field that inflicts Frostbite on the target and surrounding enemies within 2 tiles every 2s. Carolina prioritizes selecting the target with the most enemies in their surrounding 2 tiles, and each stack of Frostbite reduces the target's Haste by 15 for 6s, up to 3 stacks.

Unlocks at level 51: Increases damage to 260%.

Unlocks at level 111: The Frozen duration is increased to 8s.

Unlocks at level 171: Increases damage to 270%.

Unlocks at level 231: Increases damage to 280%.

When casting Snowball Witchery, Carolina permanently increases the damage of the snowballs by 10%, up to 7 times. From the third cast of Snowball Witchery, Carolina deals area damage to adjacent tiles with newly produced snowballs and reduces enemies' Magic DEF by 15% for 6s.

Unlocks at Ex. Weapon +5: Uses a snowball to attack the same controlled enemy hit by Carolina's normal attacks.

Carolina is an S-Level Mage of the Graveborn faction. Her kit revolves around crowd control and massive damage.

Her most iconic skill is "Snowball Witchery", which causes Carolina to surround herself with 4 snowballs, pelting enemies under the effect of crowd control with damage. Her other skills, such as "Freezing Nova" and her Ultimate "Frozen Nova" focus on inflicting Frostbite on the enemies so that she generate and throw her snowballs. This both helps Carolina and also has great synergy with other characters that focus on crowd control such as Eironn or Arden.

Her Exclusive Weapon grants access to "Frost Protection". Though, rather than protection, it is more like a Frost Nuke. Every time Carolina refreshes her "Snowball Witchery" its damage dealt is increased, and her snowballs start doing AoE damage (and reducing MDEF).

While this makes her good in AoE situations, it becomes genuinely scary when paired with other crowd control, especially the stuff that clumps people together (Eironn EX), and serves as one of the primary strategies in Arena.

are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Why does the +8 breakpoint appear so often?

Because the raw stats you get from upgrading the EX weapon help you more than the passive in some cases. Also, to upgrade the EX from +5 to +8 you need only 30x
