He functions similarly to Eternity, utilizing his Ultimate to heal himself while dealing extra damage with his skills. However, unlike Eternity, he lacks a lot of defensive qualities that can make him stick around 50% for prolonged amounts of time.

Review
Pavia is sometimes compared to a “budget Eternity”, due to his self-sustainability and kit that benefits from a smaller number of allies. In fact, he goes as far as benefitting from his allies dying, as he gains DMG Dealt, Critical Rate and Critical Resist Rate +10%, and DMG Taken -10% every time that happens. This makes Pavia synergize very well with sacrifice strats, if you enjoy that play style.
In terms of base skills, they are both Mass Attacks, with one dealing bonus damage if Pavia is above 50% HP while the second being the other way around. Take advantage of that when deciding which cards to play and which ones to save on hand for upgrading, in order to secure burst damage windows.
Last but not least, Pavia's ultimate, “Nosier than me” is the key to keep this 'seesaw' gameplay style. Aside from the high single-target damage, Pavia enters a [Self-Healing] status for 3 rounds, that heals more based on the amount of HP he lost. For those who like to live dangerously, this wolf is a worthy unit to invest in.
Cheap to raise and get Portrays due to his low rarity.
Has self-sustain.
His passive the only one that profit from an ally dying, and allows him to benefit further from sacc strats, taking his potential a bit above his fellow 4-stars.
Both his skills are Mass Attacks, so their base multiplier are relatively low;
Each of his skills have different HP-related conditions to trigger their bonus damage, making managing his attacks a bit trickier.
