Introduction

Lilya is a 6✦ rarity character from the Star afflatus who deals Reality damage and belongs to the Damage class.

A strong Crit DPS, Lilya does great single-target damage and has access to consistent follow-up attacks. Her Euphoria upgrades boost her damage even further with excess Crit Rate conversion, making her a great long-term investment if you get her from the beginner banner. Her Ult-based Euphoria upgrade gives her Moxie generation to supercharge her damage output, allowing her to keep up with newer DPS characters.

When casting Ultimate, each stack of [Ceremonious] additionally increases Reality DMG by 30%, up to a maximum of 15 stacks.

Review

Lilya is a simple and straightforward character, but effective on her job once built. Since she relies a lot on critical rate, she may feel a bit underwhelming at first when compared to other damage dealers. After reaching Insight 2, the witch starts to really take flight thanks to critical bonuses from her passive and growth alike.

To ensure Lilya's performance to always be at its best, make sure to bring allies who can reduce the enemy's critical resistance and critical defense. Characters who can reliably apply [Confusion] are ideal, but at earlier levels you can even take advantage of Eagle's passive for a little boost, before you can build a dedicated team for Lilya. Offensive buffers are also always welcome.

Another important facet of Lilya lies on her skill “Crosswind Takeoff”, not only for its high damage ceiling, but more importantly because it's one of the few abilities in the game with the characteristic of having an “extra action”. Extra actions can be very influential and even game changers when paired with certain characters like 37, and in some game modes such as UTTU.

Finally, take note that Lilya doesn't convert extra critical rate into critical damage, so keep that in mind when building her team and setting up her Psychube and Resonance statuses. If you are using her as your main DMG dealer, characters who can buff Critical DMG or who give bonus DMG in general will be her best partners.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Decent single-target DMG output paired with a reliable FUA for units like 37, Anjo Nala and Flutterpage.
Can easily generate max Crit Rate for herself.
Euphoria 1: Completely redefines her kit. Grants her access to Crit Conversion, very rapid personal Moxie generation, an extra FUA and easy [Ceremonious] stacking for massive Ultimate DMG output. Brings her closer kit-wise to Melania and Marcus than her old self and skyrockets her Damage Dealer capabilities.

Cons

Mediocre DMG output due to her low base ATK and lack of access to Crit Conversion
Euphoria 2: Grants access to Crit Conversion and slots her into the [Bullet] niche, allowing her to reduce Crit DEF, increase her Incantation Might and gain an extra FUA. Unfortunately, significantly weaker than her Euphoria 1.

Comments

Lilya can stack up “For Rehabilitation” pretty well and benefits greatly from the Crit Rate substat. “Outside the City” is easy for Lilya to stack up, especially after her Euphoria buff, which gives her mass attack a single-target FUA on crit.

“Luxurious Leisure” is great for Ult-based Lilya and becomes even better when she gets Moxie generation through her Euphoria buff.

“Thunderous Applause” is a great general use option for crit-based characters, and both her Ultimate and Skill 1 benefit from its Crit DMG buff.

“The Carat of a Heart” is only good for post-Euphoria buff Lilya. With her insane Moxie generation and Ult-spam capabilities, Lilya can make great use of its massive Ultimate Might buff.
