Cristallo is a low-rarity unit who straddles the line between sustain and support.
Most of her kit is supportive. Her first skill [Caged Bird] decreases Reality DEF at rank 2/3 and deals a little damage. Her second skill [Dustless Blossom] grants all allies a small Reality/Mental DEF boost and 1 stack of [Sturdiness], which reduces the next instance of damage they take when attacked.
Her ultimate [This is Radiotherapy] is a mass debuff that inflicts [Nasty Wound] and [Radiation Therapy] on all enemies for 2 rounds. [Radiation Therapy] is a [Neg Status] effect that increases DMG Taken and deals Genesis DMG at the end of the round.
So where is the sustain you were promised? It's actually just her Insight I passive: whenever she gets attacked, Cristallo heals another ally with the lowest HP% for a little HP based on her ATK. She also has some innate DMG Heal.
That's kind of it. Cristallo has an admittedly wide spread of supportive capabilities, but they come with their own complications.
Her Reality DEF shred is quite valuable—[Caged Bird]'s -25% at rank 2 and -35% at rank 3 are better than Bkornblume's -20%/-25%, but remember that this is a pure single-target skill that does nothing at rank 1 except a bit of damage.
The [Sturdiness] and double-DEF buff from [Dustless Blossom] are quite good, and the DEF buff lasts 2 rounds for easy 100% uptime. The only complaint is that the number of [Sturdiness] stacks don't increase with incantation rank; in late-game against enemies who spam mass attacks, 1 stack of [Sturdiness] isn't really enough.
Finally, [Nasty Wound] is just not a very good debuff. Enemy healing only comes up once in a while, and it's either an extremely persistent problem or it doesn't matter. You'll like this the one times you fight the Slime Trianglist, and even then Cristallo won't apply it often enough for it to matter. [Radiation Therapy] is a fun damage-over-time effect with DMG Taken Reduction (you'll still wish you had 100% uptime like Bkornblume, though). The most useful application of Cristallo's ultimate is probably in enabling Blasphemer of Night.
An interesting low-rarity tank-type sustain, Cristallo performs best in low-pressure environments and unfortunately doesn't fare well in late game, where she'll get whittled down or one-shot.

Stats and Build
A mix of ATK, HP, and other survival stats. You really want to build ATK on Cristallo because her Insight I healing and [Radiation Therapy] Genesis DMG both scale off of ATK. The HP helps her tankiness, as she needs to take damage to heal.

Her Second Life allows Cristallo to heal with her ultimate, greatly increasing her capabilities as a sustain. Her healing and Genesis DMG also scale off of ATK.
Since Cristallo only heals when getting hit, she can take advantage of Take the Hard Journey since she's likely healing from below 80% HP.
Long Night Talk is an interesting consideration for a half-sustain, half-damage build. Each time Cristallo uses her buff, she gets 2–2.5% ATK (which helps her healing and Genesis DMG). [Sturdiness] also counts as 1 [Pos Status] effect, so Cristallo only needs help getting the other to activate the DMG Bonus effect. The 18% Incantation Might is a bit wasted on her, though.
Melodies Old and New and Off the Scene both scale allies' DMG Dealt when Cristallo uses a buff incantation, increasing her supportive capabilities. The first gives her 12% Healing Bonus while the second gives her Reality DEF; both also grant 8% HP for a bit of extra tankiness.
Despite having her face on it, Yearning Desire isn't the greatest for Cristallo because she doesn't deal much damage. It's also a little awkward for her to activate because she needs a rank 2 skill or her ultimate to benefit from its effect.
