A Knight is Reverse: 1999's quintessential damage dealer with a very straightforward kit. His attacks scale with the enemy's Lost HP, making it easier to defeat low HP targets to gain extra Moxie from [Justice] or grant the whole team [Rousing Morale] through his ultimate. His second incantation generates additional Moxie at higher ranks, helping him to use his ultimate more frequently. A Knight plays well as a main DPS but also slots comfortably into teams that need a sub-DPS who can pick off weaker minions and gain Moxie rapidly.

A Knight is a straightforward damage dealer. Gain Moxie, spam ultimate, kill stuff, profit.
His skills [Justice] and [Glory] both grant Moxie to cast his ultimate [After AD 778] more frequently. [Justice] requires him to defeat an enemy, while [Glory] only grants Moxie at incantation rank 2/3.
[After AD 778] is a strong mass ultimate that grants all allies [Rousing Morale] if he defeats an enemy.
A Knight's Insight passives make killing enemies easier. Insight I grants DMG Dealt +10% for every 20% Missing HP on the enemy while Insight III offers Penetration Rate +10% for the same condition.
Here are some tips on how to optimize A Knight:
Deploy him alongside another damage dealer who can soften up enemies first.
His Spirit afflatus means that he will rarely have afflatus advantage, but that doesn't matter too much when you get access to Balance, Please in exchange.
Use his cards last for extra DMG Dealt and PEN Rate.
[Glory] is only worth using at rank 2/3.
Snag as many kills with [Justice] and [After AD 778] as you can.
In Mane's Bulletin, use A Knight's ultimate and skills when the health bar is as low as possible; this is one of the cases where A Knight's overkill damage will actually matter.
Considered the “jack of all trades” amongst damage dealers; doesn’t do amazing at anything but is rarely bad
Great at clearing several waves of enemies in quick succession due to his Mass DMG, Moxie generation and extra Pen Rate on low HP enemies
Doesn’t jump out in any particular field
Very reliant on Balance, Please to do any meaningful damage
Needs to be funneled kills

Prioritizes ATK. As A Knight gains Moxie quickly and wants to kill things with his Ultimate to get [Rousing Morale], Elucidation is a great option for him. If you prefer an incantation-heavy playstyle instead, you’re welcome to substitute it with Genuinity (Incantation Might/DMG Bonus) instead. This build is especially good if you have portraits (P1, P3, and P5 incentivize an Ultimate-heavy playstyle).

Prioritizes Critical Rate and Critical DMG. At R12 and above, A Knight gets access to more crit pieces.
Balance, Please is A Knight's best option, allowing him to deal lots of damage to any afflatus (except Intellect) and increasing his Ultimate Might to easily snag kills for [Rousing Morale].
Hopscotch is great for A Knight because he excels at killing off low HP enemies.
Brave New World is a great general DPS option with high Ultimate Might. Its passive also makes it easier for A Knight to snag kills with the next [Justice] he casts after his ultimate.
His Bounden Duty's DMG Bonus and high ATK make it a great general DPS option; A Knight also likes killing enemies and will proc its passive often.
If you are running a very AP-hungry A Knight build, he can generate enough Moxie on his own to make use of The Carat of a Heart.
His Tail is A Knight's anecdote psychube. 10% DMG Bonus and 11–19% Penetration Rate is good, but you'd much rather use a 6* psychube for the higher base ATK.
