Springfield is a comprehensive Hydro support with single-target damage buffs and potent defensive utility, used exclusively alongside other Hydro damage dealers as a specialized support.
To touch on Springfield’s utility:
Overheal and other healing effects: Springfield’s Ultimate grants a substantial Max HP increase to all on-field allies, effectively doubling their health pools. This significantly enhances team survivability by increasing their tolerance to burst damage. Springfield’s Max HP increase buff, supplemented with her myriad of other healing effects, allows her allies to shrug off any incoming damage they may receive.
Hydro weakness: Springfield’s 06-03 Fixed Key applies Hydro weakness to affected enemies, a multiplicative 10% overall damage increase that greatly boosts damage by virtue of being multiplicative against all other buff categories.
Stability damage increase: Springfield grants the team significant stability shred by way of her False Intelligence (+2 Stability damage received) debuff, Taryz summon counterattack, and Hydro weakness debuff. Hydro weakness not only increases Hydro damage taken but also adds a flat +2 Stability damage to all incoming Hydro attacks.
Assorted team-wide +DMG% buffs: Springfield’s abundance of +DMG% buffs provides a welcome boost to team-wide damage output.
Springfield is assessed at V1 on the basis that a significant portion of her offensive value is attributed to the +1 Confectance Index gain buff applied through her enhanced V1 Skill 2. The impact is most pronounced when paired with Tololo(V2), enabling her triple-action rounds to form one of the most potent damage synergies in the game. This pairing is notable for its cost-efficiency and scalability, requiring only a modest dupe investment to become effective while offering further offensive breakpoints at higher dupe levels.
Fixed Keys core to Springfield’s function are:
N/A: Springfield(V1)’s performance is minimally impacted by her choice of Fixed Keys.
Fixed Keys of contextual relevance that supplement Springfield’s core function are:
02-03 - Intel Acquisition: Cleanse is needed to bypass certain boss mechanics (e.g., Deichgraf DEF buff). Springfield’s dispel, applied before active attack, distracts from her buffing duties but works in a pinch, and its simple trigger makes it one of the easier ways to remove buffs from enemies.
06-01 - Behind Her Smile: Applies the aforementioned Hydro weakness debuff for all the benefits that come with exploiting Phase Weakness. While the debuff sounds attractive on paper, it’s worth noting that Springfield’s Skill 2 buff generally takes priority over spending the turn to apply this Fixed Key effect.
As of writing, Springfield does not yet have a Mod Key.
Springfield(V1) is an offensive Hydro support, used exclusively alongside other Hydro damage dealers as a specialized amplifier for the element. Her offensive buffs are complemented by defensive support utility, offering significant coverage across her teams’ needs. This well-rounded kit firmly establishes her as the premier Hydro support.
While Springfield(V1) boasts a broadly effective support kit, her primary value lies in enabling the Springfield(V1)-Tololo(V2) damage combo.
Springfield(V1) is effectively joined at the hip with Tololo(V2), To briefly detail the mechanics behind the Springfield(V1)-Tololo(V2) synergy:
When Tololo ends her action with a full Confectance Index, she will consume all of it and gain an instance of Extra Action. With enough Confectance Index gain, Tololo can effectively act three times per round, every round. Tololo needs +6 Confectance Index gain per action. This is achieved through:
+2 Confectance Index on Tololo S1/ S2: Tololo’s base kit grants conditional Confectance Index gains on Skill 1 (when exploiting Phase Weakness) and Skill 2 (while affected by three or more buffs)
+2 Confectance Index on Tololo Mod Key: Tololo’s Mod Key grants Confectance Index on active skill cast.
+1 Confectance Index on Tololo V2: Tololo’s V2 changes her S2 damage type to Hydro damage and adds a Confectance Index gain effect to the skill.
+1 Confectance Index on Springfield V1: Springfield’s V1 adds a Confectance Index gain (on Hydro damage dealt) effect to her S2 targeted buff, which can be triggered by Tololo’s V2.
Put together, Tololo’s S2 now generates 2 (S2 conditional effect) + 2 (Mod Key) + 1 (Tololo V2) + 1 (Springfield V1) for a whopping 6 Confectance Index, which triggers Tololo’s Extra Action passive. This allows Tololo to perform (among other possible rotations):
2 Confectance Index prior round carryforward 🡒 S1 🡒 +4 Confectance Index 🡒 Extra Action 🡒 S2 🡒 +6 Confectance Index 🡒 Extra Action 🡒 S3 🡒 +2 Confectance Index
Of note, Springfield’s S2 applies the Overflowing Care buff, which (among other things) provides a Hydro damage buff that spans 2 full rounds. Importantly, as the buff is not consumed on a per use basis (like most other buffs in the game), it applies to every one of Tololo’s attacks for as long as the buff is active.
SSR characters are reviewed at V0/V1 strength. However, for those especially dedicated players, it is worth noting Springfield’s significant dupe powerspikes at:
V1: As extensively detailed above, the basis for Springfield’s value (the reason she gets a team slot) is overwhelmingly attributed to the Confectance Index gain buff she applies on allies at V1.
V2: Fixes Springfield’s mismatched skill rotations for more consistent Ultimate timings. This allows her to maintain S2 (V1!) buff uptime between 2 Hydro characters, for all the team comps that benefit from it.
Comprehensive all-purpose support for Hydro teams
Overheals and reactive healing provide overwhelming survivability buffs
Because Springfield’s core value is tied to Confectance Index gain buff at V1, she carries a modest upfront investment requirement.

N/A: Springfield(V1)’s performance is minimally impacted by her choice of Fixed Keys.
Fixed Keys of contextual relevance that supplement Springfield’s core function are:

Phase Strike: Deals 15% increased damage to targets with Phase Element debuffs.
[Elemental] Boost: When dealing [Elemental] damage, the damage is increased by 20%.
Phase Strike is the standard set across all characters due to its universal compatibility and negligible damage difference compared to [Elemental] Boost sets. The 5% difference between +15% Phase Strike and +20% [Elemental] Boost translates to only a 1~3% overall damage increase. Farming new sets and calibrating existing ones both demand stamina; by focusing on fewer shared Phase Strike sets, players can allocate more stamina towards attachment calibration for higher attachment quality and better overall performance.
Support sets (e.g., Ultimate Pursuit, Emergency Repair) are ineffective and are not recommended for targeted farming.
Crit DMG% >= ATK% > Flat ATK > Crit Rate
Important! There is already more than enough damage within the character roster to meet the damage thresholds to clear at-level content. Endlessly rerolling calibration% in pursuit of incremental higher numbers has minimal impact on actual gameplay performance. To the average player, attachment calibration min-maxing is unnecessary.
Weapons are listed in priority order, but keep in mind that the Signature Weapon is not a must have - the Battle Pass Weapons or Standard Weapons will work well enough. Only Weapons available in Global are included.
