Review
Groza is a frontline tank who excels at redirecting enemy attacks and mitigating damage to protect her team. Her key ability lies in drawing aggro with her skills while relying on her high durability to absorb hits that would otherwise harm her allies. In addition to her defensive prowess, she boasts both single-target and AOE damage, allowing her to handle diverse stages effectively. This combination makes her a versatile and reliable bulwark for any team.
Fixed Keys core to Groza's function are:
2-01 - Multidimensional Assessment: Although situational, it enables Groza to apply Defense Down I (Decreases DEF by 20%), boosting the damage output of other allies.
2-03 - Controlled Advance: Attack Up increases all allies' Attack by 10% for 1 turn, enhancing the team’s overall offensive power. The effect is particularly valuable when timed with key actions to maximize damage output.
4-03 - Firepower Superiority: Groza redirects enemy attacks to herself. With her tanky stats, she can endure heavy damage with ease. This allows her to protect her allies effectively.
Groza's Mod Key is underwhelming, as its effects are highly situational and, in some cases, ineffective. When Groza activates Perfect Cover, Absolute Defense is applied, negating damage from enemy skills and basic attacks.
Groza is a bulwark specializing in redirecting enemy attacks and absorbing damage to protect her team. Her high durability allows her to handle prolonged battles effectively while ensuring the survival of squishier allies. Her primary role is to act as a reliable tank in stages that demand sustained survivability.
She is also notable for her unique combination of defensive and offensive capabilities. With a kit containing both single-target and AOE damage, she is able to handle a variety of combat scenarios while maintaining her role as a tank. This flexibility makes her a solid choice for any team, capable of adapting to a range of challenges.
Groza functions as a flexible standalone unit. Her ability to absorb damage and provide an Attack Up I buff benefits allies that rely on strong offensive output, enabling them to deal more damage during key turns. Additionally, her ability to apply Defense Down I further enhances the team’s offensive capabilities. Her defensive role also complements squishier allies, ensuring they can perform without taking excessive damage.
It is worth noting Groza’s significant dupe powerspikes at:
V1~6: All of Groza’s dupes contribute marginal increases in performance. None are dramatic enough to warrant explicit commentary. At the same time, none are so important that they fundamentally alter how Groza functions as a character. This is largely to Groza’s benefit.
A versatile bulwark who fits into any team. She is not limited by team restrictions. Reliable and adaptable in any composition.
Counter mechanic triggers support attacks.
Taunt can provide Crowd Control, redirecting damage elsewhere.
Physical damage type is inherently worse than elemental damage types as it more accurately represents an absence-of-damage-type, and thus cannot capitalize on any related systems.
Bosses are immune to Crowd Control effects, rendering Taunt useless.
For Global tier list, both SR and SSR characters are rated at V0 (no dupes). For CN tier list, SSR characters are rated at V0 (no dupes) and SR characters are rated at V6 (max dupes).
