Summary
Solovey is a backline damage dealer that provides consistent Sure Fire buff to allied rangers and snipers. She also applies high uptime barrier nullification and extremely low uptime buff block debuffs.
Solovey’s Exclusive Equipment set features a unique Basic Skill DMG AMP stat. It is a viable option for generic damage dealer sets (recommended set options are ASPD/ CDR/ Anti-Ground Damage; Ranged DMG Option 1), but does not significantly outperform existing relic gear in any game mode.
PVE Review
In PVE, Solovey outputs impressive damage, but significantly stronger damage dealers exist. She is best used as a secondary DPS, utilizing sure fire aura to compensate for lower personal damage. Notably, many Danger Close bosses have extremely high evasion, making Solovey a competitive choice for the game mode.
PVP Review
In PVP, Solovey is a straightforward backline damage dealer. She applies immense pressure to the frontline through a combination of high multipliers and Sure Fire. On top of that her Special and Ultimate skills hit slightly behind the primary target, sometimes allowing her to kill units protected by frontline tanks.
While her Sure Fire aura is synergistic with Ranger/ Sniper compositions, its impact remains supplementary to her core role as a damage dealer. In case you want to maximize this utility, pairing her with the Sasha Operator is advised.
Solovey’s lack of defensive mechanics leaves her susceptible to common backline threats (e.g. Rearm Eujin, Awakened Yoo Mina, Gremory). Proper positioning and team support are the only ways to mitigate these vulnerabilities.
