Ignis Blade Hayami Sanae is a frontline tank with a unique survivability mechanic, "Iron Defense" state, a hitcount-based invincibility. To compensate, she sports exceptionally low defensive stats for cost.
Sanae has many issues preventing usage in PVE. The foremost of which is her high cost and inconsistent gimmick. She can see niche usage in volcano stages and has no notable advantages over other units in other content.
In PvP, her unique gimmick struggles to compensate for her abysmal base stats. It takes a very specific ban rotation for Sanae to find her place.
