Edel Meitner is a PVE-oriented backline damage dealer notable for her massive innate +80% DMG bonus against corrupted objects and soldiers. She also comes with a gimmicky summon mechanic that creates little monsters from dead enemies tagged with her passive debuff.
In spite of what Edel’s passive damage boost may suggest, her actual damage is middling at best. Edel’s damage multipliers are abysmal; even in the most ideal scenarios, Edel struggles to match damage with general damage dealers. For all scenarios, there exist more effective alternatives for the role.
In PVE, Edel can be used as a damage dealer. Corrupted objects and soldiers make up a significant percentage of the enemies typically encountered in a PVE environment. Her summons help soak up damage and ease pressure off the frontline tank, especially early on when their stats are still decent relative to those of enemy units. She is otherwise unremarkable.
