Review
Princess Rodion is an incredible support for both Bloodfiend and normal Bleed teams. She’s great for Tanks and Damage Dealers. Unlike Pequod Captain Ishmael, Princess Rodion does not have an annoying Sanity mechanic to go with.
Covering Princess Rodion’s unique mechanics first, she utilizes both Blooming Thorn, which has 3 stages, and Festive Fever, her primary way of buffing the damage on other IDs.
First up is Blooming Thorn, it is an effect that can be given to allies but can’t go past Stage 1. It gives 1 Defense Level for every 2 Stacks for a maximum of 5 and lasts until the user who has it gets hit. When hit, they lose 1 Stack of Blooming Thorn to inflict 1 Bleed against the attacker. For allies, this effect caps at 10 but on Princess Rodion, it can progress to Stages 2 and 3.
Stages 2 and 3 of Blooming Thorn don’t add any additional effects, except enhancing an effect exclusive to Princess Rodion, which would inflict +(Stage - 1) more Bleed and Rupture with the Base Attack Skill Coin effects.
Her other unique buff, which would be Festive Fever, allows the user to deal +(Stack * 1.5)% more damage against targets with Bleed, but if you’re using a skill that consumes or gains Bloodfeast, it will deal +(Stack * 3)% more damage instead. Festive Fever’s max Stack is 10.
With that out of the way, let’s break down her skills. It’s worth noting that all of the buffs on her skills will always prioritize Bloodfiend allies and if the ally is a Bloodfiend, she’ll provide more buffs to them.
Skill 1, Begone… - 2 Coins - Base Roll - 11, Conditionals Fulfilled - 15. On Combat Start, for herself and 1 ally with the highest max HP, she’ll consume up to 20 Bloodfeast and apply 1 Blooming Thorn for every 10 Bloodfeast this unit consumed, this effect can only be triggered 2 times per turn. If the affected ally is a Bloodfiend, she’ll apply 1 additional Blooming Thorn. If she fails to consume Bloodfeast, she’ll gain 5 Bleed instead.
Skill 2, In Finely Ground Mistfall - 3 Coins - Base Roll - 16, Conditionals Fulfilled - 24. On Combat Start, for herself and 1 ally with the least max HP, she’ll apply 1 Attack Power Up, and then consume up to 30 Bloodfeast and apply 1 Blooming Thorn for every 10 Bloodfeast this unit consumed, 2 times per turn. If the affected ally is a Bloodfiend, she will apply 1 additional Attack Power Up and 2 Blooming Thorn. If she fails to consume Bloodfeast, gain 5 Bleed instead.
Skill 3, The Festival Will End - 3 Coins - Base Roll - 16, Conditionals Fulfilled - 19. Before using this skill, if Princess Rodion is at 25+ Blooming Thorn, she’ll use her S3-1 instead. On Use, for herself and (highest Reson.) allies, she’ll apply (3 + (1 additional for every 50 Bloodfeast Consumed by this unit) Festive Fever for this turn and next turn, for a maximum of 10. She will also apply 3 Blooming Thorns for that amount of allies and herself.
Skill 3-1, Ascendant Don Quixote Hardblood Arts - The Finale - 3 Coins - Base Roll - 19, Conditionals Fulfilled - 22. On Use, for herself and (highest Reson.) allies, she’ll apply (5 + (1 additional for every 50 Bloodfeast Consumed by this unit) Festive Fever for this turn and next turn, for a maximum of 10. She’ll also apply 5 Blooming Thorns for that amount of allies and herself. She’ll also deal +1% more damage for every 5 Bloodfeast Consumed on herself for a maximum of 50%, and consume all Blooming Thorn on self after attack.
Defense Skill, Don Quixote Hardblood Arts 15: Parasol - 2 Coins - Base Roll - 13. This is a Clashable Counter. On use, it reduces Bleed Count by 3 for 2 other allies with the highest (Bleed Potency * Count) value and increases Bloodfeast by (pre-reduction Bleed Potency * Count reduces). If the affected ally is a Bloodfiend, this skill will reduce their Bleed Count further by 2. On Clash Win, Princess Rodion will gain 4 Blooming Thorn. This skill is great for when Priest Gregor or any ally gets too much bleed count preventing them from taking too much damage.
Finally, we’ll cover Princess Rodion’s Passive. When another ally takes Bleed damage or consumes Bloodfeast, she’ll gain 1 Blooming Thorn, up to 5 times per turn. This part of the passive can allow her to have a better Blooming Thorn generation, especially with someone like Priest Gregor on the team as she can gain up to 2 Blooming Thorn per turn. She also provides healing for herself by 20% of the damage dealt with her base skills, for a maximum of 10 per skill. She will also heal 1 ally with the lowest HP percentage for any excess healing gained while at max HP.
Going into the downsides for Princess Rodion, she mainly works with a Bleed team or Bloodfiends and is not as potent with any other team that doesn’t utilize Bleed in any form since Festival Fever would not work at all. Additionally, part of her Passive only works if you’re fighting an enemy who inflicts Bleed or you have another Bloodfiend on your team.
In conclusion, Princess Rodion’s support is excellent for Bleed Teams, especially ones with Bloodfiends, because of Festival Fever and the buffs she can apply to other IDs. She also makes for a great source of inflicting Bleed Potency on tanks.
Hex Nail - Can heal allies, inflict more Bleed, and also debuff enemies
Sanguine Desire - Built for this ID. Princess Rodion is great for inflicting a good amount of potency on the enemy and this E.G.O. makes it so that Bleed Count doesn’t decay on its target. There’s a bunch of Lust Resonance in a Bleed Team as well, which naturally, also buffs the Lust Affinity damage inflicted by this skill.
Great damage.
Plethora of good buffs especially for Bloodfiends.
Can provide healing for herself and allies.
Can only really work in a Bleed Team.
Part of her passive only works if another Bloodfiend is on the team.
In this section we have listed best E.G.O.s, one per their rank for the Identity - starting with Zayin from left.
