Review
[Cinq Assoc. East Section 3] Don Quixote is the first true ID that utilizes Burn and Poise together while also utilizing the Speed and Duel aspect of the Cinq faction. Cinq East Don’s main strength lies in focused encounters where she can stack “Nerve Strike - Don Quixote”.
“Nerve Strike - Don Quixote” is a status that is split into 3 stacks and is inflicted on her last Base Skill hit if her Passive is active. It increases by 1 every time Cinq Don attacks the target with the status.
1x Stack: Gain Clash Power +1
2x Stack: Gain Base Power +1
3x Stack: Gain Clash Power +1 and Base Power +1
Aside from these she also gains more Crit Damage from this status. While it may sound powerful, it has the same problem as Cinq Meursault, albeit less problematic as you are forced to target only one enemy/part to get the full benefits, which may not be an option always.
As such, the skill overview will cover values without Nerve because of this.
Skill 1 - Fa Jin - 15 max roll - 2 coin skill - The main uses of this skill are Gluttony sin generation that is currently lacking in Burn team and +3 Poise Count, which lets Don Quixote safely and steadily gain Poise. Burn infliction is weak.
Skill 2 - Virescent Flame Palm - 22 max roll - 3 coin skill - While not dealing much damage, this skill can provide Don with a great amount of additional Poise Potency and Count while also inflicting an astonishing 8 Defense Level Down on the enemy, which can vastly improve overall team damage as such high amounts of Defense Level Down is rare. Burn infliction however is mediocre.
Skill 3 - Prithee, let this be an enlightening bout - 24 max roll - 4 coin skill - Don’s most damaging skill and the main source of Poise potency. Great damage as far as Skill 3 of Standard Identities goes. Burn infliction is mediocre.
Lastly, the only source of Haste for Don Quixote is Poise Potency which unfortunately means her conditional Coin power on skills won’t activate reliably for a few first turns after the battle starts, impacting her starting clashing potential. Furthermore, her Poise generation, while good, is locked behind [Clash Win] conditional, meaning in certain scenarios, she will not be gaining any Poise at all.
Overall, [Cinq Assoc. East Section 3] Don Quixote is just a decent DPS identity who thrives in focused encounters and Burn teams.
No E.G.O. synergies
Self-sufficient Poise gain when clashing.
Great clashing potential.
Shines only in Focused Encounters.
Weak first turns of the battle due to RNG of speed rolls and nature of her Passive.
Clash Win conditional for Poise generation can be unreliable.
In this section we have listed best E.G.O.s, one per their rank for the Identity - starting with Zayin from left.
