One of the 2 healers from the beast faction, Clara was the OG unit to stop enemy Adrienne hooks by knocking her back before this ability was removed. Ironically, it made her even stronger since now she will not run off into the enemy backline alone by constantly pushing the frontline back, and now she can stick with your team and share the damage equally with the frontlines.
Her kit is very simple, the M1 being her bread of butter of a long heal over time, while also slightly boosting overall team durability with S3 DEF boost, and her own as well with S2 self-recovery and cleanse. Her artifact is also very simple, making her regenerate mana to cast her M1 more frequently.
Overall, she is a great healer for the early game when healers are not especially important compared to your DPS, but towards the later chapters, you will notice the difficulty of keeping your team alive using Clara compared to Catherine or Talia, and now Jiho.
She also fails to provide any other utility for your team in the form of buffs or debuffs, especially since her M1 immunity to status effects does not cleanse any existing status effects.
While Clara’s lack of cleanse and offensive buffs places her on a low ranking amongst other healers, her ability to stun boss is very handy if mechanics remain same in future.
Clara also faces the similar issue of being outshadowed by Catherine and Talia, both offering more utility and durability than Clara. Although her stun could be useful in disrupting frontlines, not being able to support the team in heals compared to other healers made her fall short.
Strong heals, especially in early game.
Can share damage at frontline and stun enemies.
No cleanse and offensive buffs.
