Water Element. The character was originally released on January 12th, 2024 in China and they will release on November 13th, 2024 in Global.

A human from Hailin, Senlo. Graduated from Hailin University of Political Science and Law in the class of 1120 with a major in Public Security and became a junior police officer at the Hongliu Street Office of the Hailin Public Security Bureau's Farvision Branch. Became an Echomancer during an accident in Dec 1120 and was transferred to R.E.D. Compared to other Echomancers in the squad, his physique is less ideal. He lacks combat experience and needs more training.

Intro

Tian Ruo is a 4✦ Echomancer of the Bulwark Class, with the Water Element. He is a hybrid of healer and barrier tank. His Active Skill is a Medium Strength barrier which increases his block while it is active, heals allies for a fraction of their total health, and deals damage to nearby enemies when broken. His Auto Skill is a single target HP% Heal, which scales with the target’s maximum HP. His Ultimate heals the team for a total of 90% of their maximum health over 15s, while also providing some Damage Resistance.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Cheap, consistent source of barriers;

  • HP% based healing remains relevant even for high VIT Echomancers;

  • Good amount of Active Skill uses;

  • Tanky for a 4-star.

Cons

  • Low damage overall;

  • Cannot deal with flying enemies due to melee Basic Attacks and ground based skills;

  • Long Cooldown on Ultimate;

  • Doesn’t quite heal enough to work as a dedicated healer.

A very useful tank and healer for beginners in the early game. He can be used as a substitute when Longqing is not available. His own characteristics make him an easy target for the enemy. In addition, Tian Ruo can release his barrier many times, which can increase his own blocking strength and heal allies. When combined with the Memory Trace “Nightmare”, he can quickly stack Inspire.
