Lightning Element. The character was originally released on January 12th, 2024 in China and they will release on November 13th, 2024 in Global.

Mars, special consultant of the Xiling Industries' Equipment R&D Department. From one of the southern hemisphere nations, past unknown. Under collaboration agreement, he provides weapon quality guidance and support to S.E.E.D.

Lv. 2: When set as Leader and on the field: Increases the VIT of Echomancers on the field by 20%.

Lv. 3: When set as Leader, this Echomancer’s MST to DMG Rate is increased to 110%.

Lv. 4: When set as Leader, when this Echomancer deals damage to boss or elite targets, the Extra DMG of Echomancers on the field is increased by 60% for 30s.

Lv. 5: ATK SPD +5%.

Lv. 6: CRIT Rate +5%.

Lv. 7: When set as Leader on the field: Lightning Echomancers ignore 10% of the target's Basic DR. When an Elemental Reaction is triggered on the field, applies a 40%[Elemental Reaction DMG Bonus] to all enemies for 30s.

Lv. 8: After being switched to Backup, the redeployment CD is reduced by 15s.

Lv. 9: When set as Leader, the Extra DMG of all Echomancers on the field is increased by 50%. Additionally, when calculating the number of Echomancers required for [Inspire], this Echomancer is counted as 2.

Intro

Mars is a 4✦ Echomancer of the Striker Class, with the Lightning Element. He specializes in breaking enemy barriers and dealing with flying mechanical units. The main reason to use Mars is his E.M.P. skill, which is extremely powerful for a 4-star character. It allows him to remove enemy barriers, reduce their lightning resistance, and knock down mechanical flying units, which comes at the cost of low use count.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Can remove enemy barriers;

  • Can reduce enemy lightning RES;

  • Can knock down flying mechanical units;

  • Deals extra damage against mechanical units;

  • Cheap to max out dupes.

Cons

  • He’s a one-trick pony, and is used for his ‘E.M.P.’...

  • ...But it only has 3 charges;

  • Low damage other than his Ultimate;

  • Basic attacks can only target ground units;

  • Low stat and multiplier cap due to low rarity, which also makes him squishy for a melee unit.

Tier list comment

A 4* battle god, Mars has extremely fast ATK SPD and high multipliers that give him a respectable spot in early game teams. Mars is also able to stack up Basic ATK by killing enemy units. Future 6* Lightning Echomancers perform his role better, though, so he gets moved to C tier.
