Gauya is a 4✦ rarity Echomancer of the
Tactician
Tactician class who wields the
Physical
Physical Element. The character was originally released on January 12th, 2024 in China and they will release on November 13th, 2024 in Global.

Gauya comes from Leaf Town of Blackout and is a cool-headed introvert. In late November 1120, Gauya and his partner, Infa, crossed through the Skyrift and ended up at the Kumine Base. After passing a psychological evaluation at the start of 1121, he returned to Hailin. He currently lives in a S.E.E.D. dorm as a temporary employee and seemingly wishes to continue his studies in Senlo.

Allied Echomancers prioritize attacking the marked enemy when possible. When Infa is present, the Skill radius is increased to 350.

Base Effect:

Summons a [Soul Queller] at his side at the start of the combat. When Infa is present, both Echomancers' Skill Area is significantly increased.

Unlocks at Seed Lv. I:

Upon Gauya's death or when an ally within a 500-unit radius from a [Soul Queller] is defeaed, the [Control Effect] on Gauya and the target Echomancer are instantly removed, and the target's Echomancer's spirit keeps fighting for 10s with 50% increased ATK, 100% increased ATK SPD, 50% increased Movement SPD, 50% increased CRIT Rate, and 50% increased CRIT DMG.
This effect may trigger once per battle.

Lv. 0: When set as Leader, this Echomancer gains an Engraving Stat bonus of 20% (including VIT, ATK, and MST).

Lv. 1: When set as Leader, teammates gain an Engraving Stat bonus of 20% (including VIT, ATK, and MST).

Lv. 2: When set as Leader and on the field: Increases the VIT of Echomancers on the field by 20%.

Lv. 3: When set as Leader, this Echomancer’s MST to DMG Rate is increased to 110%.

Lv. 4: When set as Leader, after this Echomancer casts a debuff or buff skill, the Extra DMG of Echomancers on the field is increased by 60% for 30s.

Lv. 5: ATK SPD +5%.

Lv. 6: CRIT Rate +5%.

Lv. 7: When set as Leader, this Echomancer and their summons have a 35% chance to reduce the target's Physical RES by 100%, up to a maximum reduction of 100%, lasting 15s.

Lv. 8: After being switched to Backup, the redeployment CD is reduced by 15s.

Lv. 9: When set as Leader, the Extra DMG of all Echomancers on the field is increased by 50%. Additionally, when calculating the number of Echomancers required for [Inspire], this Echomancer is counted as 2.

Review

Intro

Gauya is a 4✦ Echomancer of the Tactician Class, with the Physical Element. Gauya is specialized in impairing the movements of enemies in small areas, either by pulling them towards him or by reducing their movement speed with his normal skills. His Ultimate expands on that, by rooting all enemies on the map or even stunning them for a long duration if they’re in the range of his summoned artifact. As Infa’s partner, Gauya’s skill range also increases when the two of them are played together.  Last but not least, his first dupe will give him or the first ally to die close to his summon a once per battle cheat death ability, allowing one last burst of damage before retreating!

  • Good synergy with AoE Burst;

  • Short cheat death on 1st dupe!

  • Low base stats and damage;

  • Bad at repositioning.

Tier list comment

Can offer a variety of crowd-control options, and is used in the ‘Necromancer’ strat due to his ability to keep the spirit of an ally fighting for a short amount of time after they’re defeated. However, lacks DMG and has overall low stats due to his rarity.

Any Formula requires a minimum of 330 score in order to unlock new Dialogues. Full Bonus can be achieved with Coziness 4000 + Bond level 9 or above. There are two types of Formula: Memoir and Score. "Memoir" enables the Memoir book, while "Score" are high score recipes used to farm bond (the numbers in the brackets mean: No Bonus/Full Coziness/Full Bonus).
