Introduction

Aceo is a 5✦ rarity Echomancer of the
Tactician class who wields the
Corrosion Element. The character was originally released on January 12th, 2024 in China and they will release on November 13th, 2024 in Global.

Aceo comes from the Spike clan in Ourea. Unlike other Spikes, known for their bold personality, Aceo is naturally shy and easily scared. He struggles with people he's not familiar with and often ends up in tears if he tries to maintain a steady gaze for more than three seconds. He instinctively turns away from strangers. He's quite jumpy and becomes immediately apologetic if someone surprises him. During field ops, his excessive nervousness often causes him to lose control over his spells or fail to cast them at all.

Then, generates Mucus on the ground. Ground enemies who come into contact with the Mucus have their [Movement SPD] reduced by 90%. The Mucus lasts for 20s.

DMG dealt decays as the circle moves to outer layers, reducing the target's [Movement SPD] by 80% for 3s. Hide and Seek: Stealth Can be used in Normal State Active: Hides in the bush, entering [Stealth]. Will not be prioritized by ATKs. Basic ATKs throw Lollipops in all directions. ATK SPD: 0.65 times per sec. Deals {0} reduced DMG. Hide and Seek: Exit Stealth Can be used in Stealth Stance Active: After using any Skills, exit [Stealth].

Throws Lollipops in all directions, attacking 10 times within a 600-unit radius for Corrosion DMG equal to {0} Final ATK in total, and adds 25 Corrosion Accumulation to the Terminal. Then generates Mucus on the ground. Ground enemies who come into contact with the Mucus have their [Movement SPD] reduced by 90%. The Mucus lasts for 18s. Lollipops last for {1}s. Enemies who come into contact with Lollipops are [rooted] for 10s. Tactician Trait: At the start of combat, gains 50% Seed Charge.

The Red Lollipop reduces all enemies' [Movement SPD] by 70% within a 150-unit radius, dealing Corrosion DMG equal to 95% Final ATK to a small area after a brief delay. The Green Lollipop deals Corrosion DMG equal to 190% Final ATK to the current target, reducing their [Movement SPD] by 80%.

Potential Exploration

Lv. 0: When set as Leader, this Echomancer gains an Engraving Stat bonus of 20% (including VIT, ATK, and MST).

Lv. 1: When set as Leader, teammates gain an Engraving Stat bonus of 20% (including VIT, ATK, and MST).

Lv. 2: When set as Leader and on the field: Increases the VIT of Echomancers on the field by 20%.

Lv. 3: When set as Leader, this Echomancer’s MST to DMG Rate is increased to 110%.

Lv. 4: When set as Leader, after this Echomancer casts a debuff or buff skill, the Extra DMG of Echomancers on the field is increased by 60% for 30s.

Lv. 5: ATK SPD +5%.

Lv. 6: CRIT Rate +5%.

Lv. 7: When set as Leader on the field: For each Corrosion Echomancer on the field, Corrosion Blast DMG is increased by 25%, up to an increase of 50%.

Lv. 8: After being switched to Backup, the redeployment CD is reduced by 15s.

Lv. 9: When set as Leader, the Extra DMG of all Echomancers on the field is increased by 50%. Additionally, when calculating the number of Echomancers required for [Inspire], this Echomancer is counted as 2.

Intro

Aceo is a 5-star Corrosion Tactician focused on controlling the battlefield and area denial, his kit in general is made to stall the enemy as much as possible to be finished off by the team’s Corrosion Blast. He is a great control option for corrosion teams as his basic attack, active damage skill and ultimate greatly slow down enemies, with the latter also capable of immobilizing enemies. He can also hide so that enemies do not prioritize him for attacks, great for healing at low health.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Powerful Area Denial;
Can stall enemies almost indefinitely using basic attacks and skills;
AoE Anti-Air basic attacks;
Can also decrease enemy ATK SPD at 1 dupe.

Cons

Low Damage besides his Ultimate;
Squishy;
Control tools limited to only ground targets;
Ultimate requires him to move to close range of the enemy, risking taking more damage.

Tier list comment

Boasting large areas of crowd-control, Aceo’s main function is to immobilize waves of enemies. At 3 dupes, the control areas created by “Sweet Mucus” become permanent and increase Corrosion damage. However, Aceo is not suitable to be used in other teams.
